We have talked about the grapefruit diet in this blog before and how useful it has been, for people who are trying to lose some weight.  For some reason, this diet had gone off the radar of many out there and today, it is gaining popularity once more.  The grapefruit diet, is an excellent way to lose some weight and to take care of your body at the same time.

It is not hard to follow, it is a good way to start your day and it is certainly one of the best options for losing weight in a healthy way.  So here is a little more about the grapefruit diet and how you can start following it today.

In 2006, a study proved that if people drink eight ounces of grapefruit juice with every single one of their meals or if they eat half a grapefruit with their meals, they will lose at least 3.5 pounds, in a matter of 12 weeks.

During the study, there were many patients who lost more than 10 pounds with this diet plan and this is one of the reasons why it became so popular in the past.  If you have not given this diet plan a try, maybe it is time for you to do so, as it is not hard to follow and you are very likely to lose some weight, in a few weeks.
