  1. Don’t Keep Unhealthy Snacks At Home – This is the number one tip for not eating snacks late at night.  If you don’t have unhealthy snacks you will not eat them.
  2. Have a second plan -If you feel like you really have to eat something late at night, you should have a second plan and try to avoid unhealthy foods at all costs.  You can also try to focus your mind on something else, like reading a book, checking something on the web or even exercising a bit.
  3. Drink Something – Instead of having a late night snack, you can also drink a glass of water or warm tea, so your stomach doesn’t feel empty and you can go back to sleep.  This is an excellent choice and it will also help you to stay hydrated as well.
  4. Don’t Watch TV Too Late – If you stay up late to watch TV, it is very likely that you will want to grab a snack, so try to avoid those situations, where you know that you will feel hungry and want to go get something to eat.
